WordPress Installation Basics

If you are installing WordPress and the Chiropractor2Web theme, you’ll need to know a few things about web hosting, domains, and uploading files with an FTP client.

In case any of these topics are new for you, I wanted to provide some video tutorials to help you through it.

Buying a new domain and hosting account

If you’re buying a new domain and setting up a web hosting account for your small business website we highly recommend BlueHost. Use this link to sign up. New domains are free (and you should always have your own domain for your business), it’s only $6.95/month, and they have a one-click WordPress installation feature called SimpleScripts.

This video walks you through signing up for a web hosting account with BlueHost, specifying your new domain name (you can also use a domain that you already have if you would like) and installing WordPress – all in less than 5 minutes.
